Challenge HINT!!!

Hi Gang,
I just wanted to touch base with you all to remind you of the challenge. I thought I'd give you a hint to solving this enigma:

HINT #1:
The two most important commandments ARE NOT an opinion. There is a most important and a second most important commandment (according to someone). So, my challenge to you was to find them, and tie in why you think service is so important to God.

HINT #2:
You won't be able to answer this without opening you Bibles. And unless you have memorized scripture (and a lot of it), you probably won't be able to find the answer without using a concordance, or a Google search.

HINT #3:
Jesus

Hope that helps and that you're up to the challenge. Good Luck!

  1. I think the first important commandment is when Jesus replieds, " You shall love Lord God and Jesus will all your heart, all of your soul, and all of your mind. I think this is important to God because you should do that and because he is the father almighty. The second most important commandment is you shall love your neighbor as yourself. This is important to god because you should do this too and like love only yourself.

  2. I did not know what two commandments could of been the two strongest, due to the fact that all of them have a powerful impact on everyone in the Christian faith. I re read the commandments in the bible, and did a search in google, and I ended up finding an answer that suited the hints pretty well. When on the internet, i found this quote that Jesus stated when he was asked what the two most important commandments were;

    "The most important one is this: Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these."

    This proves that Jesus believed these two commandments were the most imporatnt. When i look back on them, I fully agree with his choice. God is the holy father, and no one should be idolized but him. Loving your neighbor is similar to loving God, you may not know them as well as you'd like to but you know they've never done antyhing to be dishonored or disrespected.
